At Northwest Folklife that means wrapping up business from the 2008 Festival and looking forward to our benefit Auction on November 8th, 2008, as well as planning for the 2009 Festival.
You may have noticed: we've given our e-newsletter a bit of a makeover - we hope you'll find it easier to read, easier to manage your subscription and just plain more fun. Please let us know what you think.

It's a happy dilemma: which show to go to at the Northwest Folklife Festival? Which amazing performance am I going to miss because I was busy attending a different amazing performance?
Happily, we've got a solution for you: many of the 2008 Festival's live performances were recorded and are available for download on our audio site www.nwfolklifeaudio.org.
You can listen to The Many Shades of Gospel Music, Folk Punk Attack!, Raisin' a Ruckus: New Old Time Bands, and Latin American All-Stars, to name just a few of the shows available.
