EMP|SFM hosts Family Days the third Saturday of every month.

October’s Family Day features performances by Hot Club Sandwich in Sky Church. Hot Club Sandwich captures the spirit of hot jazz bands from the early 20th century, and their unique, all-string instrumentation features guitars, violin, mandolin and upright bass. October’s Family Day also includes printmaking with local artist Diana Falchuk in SpinKids Station.

In addition, help EMP|SFM celebrate the Gretsch Company’s 125th Anniversary with free interactive workshops with Gretsch artists Steve Ferrone, drummer from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and TV Jones, a leader in the development and manufacture of innovative, high-quality guitar pickups. Sign up Oct. 18 at the EMP|SFM ticketing counter; space is limited.
