Family Days At EMP|SFM

October’s Family Day features performances by Hot Club Sandwich in Sky Church.
Hot Club Sandwich captures the spirit of hot jazz bands from the early 20th
century, and their unique, all-string instrumentation features guitars, violin,
mandolin and upright bass. October’s Family Day also includes printmaking with
local artist Diana Falchuk in SpinKids Station.
In addition, help EMP|SFM celebrate the Gretsch Company’s 125th Anniversary with
free interactive workshops with Gretsch artists Steve Ferrone, drummer from Tom
Petty and the Heartbreakers, and TV Jones, a leader in the development and
manufacture of innovative, high-quality guitar pickups. Sign up Oct. 18 at the
EMP|SFM ticketing counter; space is limited.
Family Days are free to kids 10 and under. Family Days are sponsored by IKEA.
