International Festival 2008

Live Entertainment
Come listen to the hottest popular performers in the Pacific Northwest. Different types of ethnic and cultural music will be performed, as well as entertainment for kids. Entertainment begins at noon on Saturday and runs through Sunday afternoon.

Parade
Saturday, June 28, 10:30 a.m.
Parade begins at Tyee High School and travels west on S. 188th St. It then proceeds southbound on 33rd Ave. S. traveling through Angle Lake Park and finishing at the Alaska Airlines parking lot.

Children's Area
Saturday - 11:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (Opens after parade)
Sunday - 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

"Under the Lights 4"
4th Annual Skateboarding Competition
Valley Ridge Park, 4644 S. 188th St.

Registration - 7:00 p.m.
Contest - 8:00 p.m.
Come and join the festivities taking place at Valley Ridge Park for our city's fourth annual skateboard competition. The event will be a chance for local skaters of all skill levels to come and display their talents. Thanks to 35th Avenue for helping organize the event.

No pre-registration required. Guardian/Parent signed release form required. Helmet/pads required.

Divisions: 11 & under - 12-15 years - 16+ years -Sponsored

Price: $15 per participant, $20 sponsored

Family Fun Run
Saturday, June 28- 10:15 a.m.
The first annual Family Fun Run is approximately one mile and follows the same route as the parade. No registration fee. Register by calling the SeaTac Community Center at 206.973.4680 by Thursday, June 26th. Or register the day of event at Valley Ridge Park. For information contact 206.973.4680.

"Classic Thunder Unlimiteds"
Sunday, June 29 - Noon-4:00 p.m.
Come watch electric model hydroplanes as they race around a course on Angle Lake. The fun begins at noon so head on down to the beach for some racing fun!
