Author Theo Pauline Nestor will read from her memoir, “How to Sleep Alone in
a King-Size Bed”
The program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Free
parking is available in the branch garage.
“How to Sleep Alone in a King-Size Bed” is about Nestor’s life after leaving a
long marriage. She goes from being a stay-at-home mom to a single mother of two,
attending a court-ordered custody class, going to job interviews and falling in
love again.
Nestor’s work has been published in a number of places, including The New York
Times, Alligator Juniper, msn.com, AustinMama.com and HappenMag.com. She teaches
memoir writing for the University of Washington’s extension program. She lives
in Ballard.
The program is sponsored in partnership with the Seattle chapter of the Women’s
National Book Association and the Secret Garden Bookshop. Books will be
available for purchase and signing.
