Seattle Repertory Theatre Welcomes Katie Jackman, Director of Marketing and Communications

Seattle, WA - Seattle Repertory Theatre welcomes Katie Jackman in her role as Director of Marketing and Communications.  Ms. Jackman joins Seattle Rep with over 10 years experience marketing non-profit and commercial theater for organizations based in the Twin Cities. As the Director of Marketing and Communications at Hennepin Theatre Trust she managed over 200 presentations annually, including the Broadway Series, concerts and various performing arts events. Prior to that position, she was the Senior Director of Marketing for Clear Channel Entertainment where she co-managed programming and sales initiatives in Minnesota and Wisconsin, working on popular productions such as "Wicked" and "Disney's The Lion King." During her time with both organizations she developed and executed integrated branding campaigns for the Hennepin Theatre District and Broadway Across America.

Ms. Jackman moved to Minnesota in 1997 to join Hey City Theatre. She most recently worked in Marketing Planning for Target Corporation, executing marketing initiatives and co-branded partnerships.

An active member of the Minneapolis community, she has also served in a variety of volunteer positions through the Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minneapolis Downtown Council, Minneapolis Economic Development Agency and the American Cancer Society.

A Portland native, Ms. Jackman began her career at the Portland Opera after earning a B.A. in Humanities from the University of Oregon. She also holds a Management Certificate from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.
