Southwest Airlines Torchlight Parade

Strap on your hiking boots, grab your mountain climbing gear, and get ready to experience an "Amazing Adventure" at the Southwest Airlines Torchlight Parade at Seafair!

The 2008 Parade Theme: Amazing Adventures, will celebrate the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest and the many adventures it has to offer.

The Southwest Torchlight Parade is the largest nighttime parade in the Pacific Northwest with more than 300,000 people lining the streets of downtown Seattle. Precision drill teams, community floats, regional and international bands, equestrian units, giant helium balloons, comical clowns and swashbuckling pirates all come together in downtown Seattle to celebrate true family and community entertainment.

We encourage all Parade participants to incorporate an Amazing Adventures theme. The unit that best supports our "adventurous theme" will be awarded four round trip tickets aboard Southwest Airlines! Grab your skis, kayak, mountain bike, or whatever you need for your favorite adventure, and head to the Southwest Airlines Torchlight Parade at Seafair. You won't want to miss the action!
