Tickets for the peanut-controlled seating sections for the September 9, Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers game at Safeco Field are still available.
Two seating sections, 310 and 312, are designated peanut-controlled zones for the game so that individuals and families of those who live with severe peanut allergies can attend games at Safeco Field with a reduced risk of exposure to peanuts.
The risk of exposure will be minimized with thorough cleanings before the games, additional staff and signage to alert fans to the ban on all peanut products in the two sections. There will also be no peanuts or food containing peanut products available at near-by concession stands.
Tickets for the special seating sections for the September 9 game are available for $10 each at www.mariners.com/nopeanuts. Tickets in those sections will only be sold to those who agree to abide by the peanut ban.
Date: September 9th, 2008.
