Trains

from:Phinney Neighborhood Association category:Clubs and Organizations posted:May 25th, 2007

Come play with and learn about trains. Each day we will sing train songs, count train cars (reaching 100 on day five), and read some great train books. At free time, we will do a different train art project each day and we will have fun dressing up as the train crew. We will have loads of wood trains, sensory table-proof trains, trains to build on: Duplo trains and Lego remote controlled trains and a big train, made out of cardboard, that we will have fun decorating ourselves. On the fourth of July we will add flags and other fourth of July symbols to our large train. On Friday we will set up a G-scale model Playmobil train and take turns running it. Cynthia Slate, who still enjoys playing trains, is a co-op parent of two boys who both loved trains. Her older son Henry will be assisting in the class and her son Silas will be enrolled in the class. So space is limited to only seven additional children. Why not drop off your child the week of the forth while you relax or prepare to celebrate? Snack will be provided along with 30 minutes of outside time.

Min. and max. enrollment: 7
