The Seattle Office of Emergency Management was created to facilitate the exchange of information so critical when dealing with major disasters. We begin by educating community members on how to protect and prepare themselves. We continue by organizing City agencies and community partners into an effective team. Finally, we act as a catalyst and advocate during the recovery process. We help people achieve self-sufficiency and the community to become resilient in its ability to get through difficult times together. We invite you to join us in this effort!
