Shoreline Arts Festival

The Shoreline Arts Festival is held on the last weekend in June. There is something creative and fun for everyone at this  FREE two-day community event:  Arts Exhibits, Youth Art, Artist Marketplace, Cultural rooms, Hands-on Art, Performances, Food Court, and various activities of all kinds.  Here’s a sample of what the festival has to offer:

Artist Marketplace
The beating heart of the Shoreline Arts Festival, with 70-80 artists of all kinds; the Artist Marketplace is a hard-won, hand-made dream.  Pursue paintings, ceramics, jewelry, and pretty much every other kind of art as you saunter through the sunshine and decide which of the masterpieces on offer will grace your mantelpiece.  Enrich your home with hand-made art, support local artists, and show the world where you stand as a curator of great taste.

Dance & Music
The Outdoor Showmobile Stage features regional performers all weekend long, and you can come see it all without spending a penny! Sit back, relax, and let us entertain you with an array of musical and dance performances spanning a wide range of styles. Plus, our food court is right next door, so grab a bite, pull up a seat, and enjoy the show!

Food Truck Food Court
Get lunch, dinner, or just a sweet treat at this year’s Arts Festival Food Court. Conveniently located by the Showmobile Outdoor Stage the food court is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the festival atmosphere.

Juried Art & Photography Exhibits
The Juried Art Exhibit is one of the highlights of the Arts Festival. It features over 300 artworks from regional artists in 2D, 3D, and photography. We award over $2000 in cash prizes and merchandise prizes. Winners are announced on Saturday at 11:00 am on the Main Stage. Each year, the Arts Council has also purchased work for our Portable Works Collection, which has grown to over 50 pieces, and they are shown at many public buildings in our community.

Youth Art Exhibit
Young minds = Creativity!  Be amazed by the talents in the Shoreline Arts Festival Youth Art Exhibit. Students in Pre-K through 12th grade submit their favorite 2-D and 3-D art works. Make sure to vote for your favorite piece for the People’s Choice award. Awards are given in four different age groups, and art for the Shoreline School District 2016-17 calendar is also selected from this exhibit of over 300 artworks. Come surround yourself in the fabulous creativity of our youth!
