Abbey Ballroom
The Abbey Ballroom is housed in a beautifully renovated historic church in downtown Tacoma. Its high ceilings, gleaming fir floors, and tall windows create just the right atmosphere for ballroom dancing at its best.
The Abbey offers regularly scheduled dances and classes, as well as special events, parties, and dances. Classes include West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Night Club Two Step, and Hustle. We also offer Ballet, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. To fine-tune your technique, you can take individual lessons from one of our top-notch dance instructors. If you're a serious dancer, you may want to find out about our Pilates equipment and instruction. You can also rent this beautiful facility for a private event.
