Our goal is to provide mature and interesting work for our collector base, to share and expand our collective awareness of art past and present in a wide range of artistic expressions, and to develop a greater awareness, understanding, and tolerance for the individual artistic voice. The focus is eclectic.

Art from around the world.
The American Art Company mixes contemporary works of art on paper (etchings, silk-screens, and collage) with paintings, sculpture, art quilts, contemporary expressions in wood, and baskets. The artists we represent are from Japan, Europe, and the United States.
Since 1889.
The American Art Company was established in 1889 in Tacoma as a custom framing business and continues to offer museum standard framing services to this day. Since 1984 the gallery has been located in downtown Tacoma with a generous exhibition area of 3500 square feet.
Collectible Artists for your home.
The gallery represents collectible artists who are in mid to late career with a clear track record of exhibitions. The majority (not all) of the artists and individual artworks presented are selected with residential rather than corporate environments in mind.
