The Bear Creek United Methodist Church is a diverse place of belonging for all people that wish to develop a relationship with Christ. Our congregation is a nurturing faith family. We encourage you to reach your fullest potential through worship, study of the word of God, and by helping others.

Goals:

Create a familiar and comfortable place of Christ-centered fellowship where diverse people of all ages come together to share in a common journey of faith development. Provide worship and learning experiences based on the Bible that are inviting, inspirational, challenging, and joyful, with a balance of traditional, contemplative, and innovative approaches. Provide a center for growth opportunities, where Christian education is valued, individuals are encouraged to explore spiritual development, and participants are equipped for witness and mission. Create a sanctuary of acceptance and caring, reaching out to all people as a safe and inclusive place of belonging, where each individual is seen as a child of God with gifts to be encouraged and developed. Provide a foundation for developing a relationship with the Risen Christ, for serving the world as instruments of God, and for reaching out to make disciples for Christ. Encourage growth in the Body of Christ through an active program of invitation and outreachin the community.
