At the request of Jay Man who hosts the website strangesoundsinthesky.com I've uploaded the original clip from our camcorder. He's doing a great job on his site pulling together the various accounts in a way that seeks to find the truth about what's causing these strange sounds. I get the feeling he's not hyping anything or trying to get people hysterical or worried. He's just trying to investigate and find the real cause. I appreciate his approach to this topic. If you watched my first video you already know I don't believe these sounds are trumpets of doom, trumpets from heaven, signs of the end of the world, or anything like that. Please do not ascribe something weird to the visual on this video- it's just a security light visible from our hotel balcony. It was shot at 4:38AM and so the rest of it is dark. The first clip's volume was adjusted so people could hear it better. This one's not as loud because I left it as is. Please don't post that I'm altering the video so it must be fake- if you turn up your volume and match the levels between the two they both sound EXACTLY the same- there is no difference. The other video lasts longer because it plays this clip TWICE. Thanks! Mike

Strange sounds in the sky my wife and I heard in Fish Creek, WI at about 4AM, Jan 31st 2012. They lasted about 1 hour and seemed to fill the air with sound. Fish Creek is very quiet and this was really a loud sound that came in waves fading in and out. I taped it using our camcorder from the balcony of our hotel room. Most of the time it sounded "metallic" like very large machinery or large freight trains changing tracks or stopping and there is nothing like that in Fish Creek. When we returned from vacation and started researching it we found many videos on YouTube with this same strange sound that we heard. I noticed some people think it might be angelic trumpets as talked about in Revelation and although the sound is very eerie, strange, and creepy I don't think it's a sound of angel trumpets for reasons laid out in the bible. But it IS very weird!

McHenry county earthquake- strange sound in Wisconsin

INFO- We heard "Strange sky sounds" in Fish Creek, WI that sounded "metallic" six hours after the earthquake that occurred on the Wisconsin-Illinois border. The Niagara Escarpment runs straight through the Door County Peninsula where Fish Creek is located and ends at the Wisconsin-Illinois border where the earthquake took place. I have also seen 2 other reports of people in the Chicago area hearing the sound around the time of the earthquake (both before and after the quake occurred). Read this post were the website admin found an article called "Overhead Sounds in the Vicinity of Yellowstone Lake" from Science Magazine, dated 1893, by Edwin Linton reporting "metallic" sounds in the sky heard at Yellowstone Park. The website admin JayMan notes, "Yellowstone Park has 1000 to 3000 earthquakes each year. They're small and are rarely felt, but the region is one of the most seismically active in the United States. Could metallic sounds be related to seismic activity?"
