CPR for Family & Friends for Expectant Parents teaches lay rescuers skills in adult, child and infant.

CPR and relief of foreign body airway obstruction in the responsive victim. The course presents information about the AHA adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also presents information on the AHA pediatric Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of the most common fatal pediatric injuries and reduction in the risk of sudden infant death syndrome. A course “participation card” is given to each participant.

Location: Agnesian HealthCare Journeys: A health resource center.

Cost: $25 per person or $40 per couple.
