Lemon Street Gallery
Mission:
To provide the Greater Kenosha community with quality visual arts education, support cultural events and offer a juried forum for regional artists to exhibit and sell their work.
History:
In the Spring of 1998, a small group of artists, longing to unite the art community, shared with others the idea of forming a cooperative gallery. In a co-op, member-artists share equally in the toil and glory of owning an art gallery. Many artists were intrigued, so the search was on for a suitable space. Over a year later, two of the artists purchased a handsome storefront, and the dream began to unfold.
