I was reminded of this in the parking lot following the assault and ejection of a young female protester. It was very apparent that the auction scenes inside weren't going to be available for a humane, dog loving, public. It's difficult to believe this is happening in a state thought of as a leader in setting standards for animal husbandry. Clark County WI has become a nesting ground for the Puppy Mill Industry and the dog auction, in part, facilitates processing this industry's waste.

They have no concerns about stuffing dogs into wire cages made for poultry, and stacking them into the back of a hot pick up truck cap. Note the gas can with the rag stuffed into it. Also notice how they don't want you to visit them.... wonder why?? This is exactly why need laws to control these inhumane activities in Wisconsin.
