Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library to Host Presentation on Gollings

Sheridan, WY - The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library is hosting a presentation by Gary Temple on his new book, Gollings: More of the Story in the Inner Circle.  Mr. Temple will give a short discussion of the book and hold a book signing.  Books will be available for sale for $90 following the program.

Gollings: More of the Story is coauthored by Gary Temple and William T. Ward and showcases the artwork of Elling William “Bill” Gollings including reproductions of 179 oils, 39 watercolor or mixed media, 30 graphite, 24 pen and ink, 17 Christmas Cards, 1 linoleum cut, 55 photographs, 26 images of ephemera, 16 commercial examples, 1 sculpture, and signature examples from 1900 to 1932.

Gary Temple owns the Meadowlark Gallery in Billings with his wife Marylee Moreland.  The gallery specializes in Western and Sporting Fine Art and includes a sporting and firearms room, a library, bronze sculptures, and quality paintings.  In addition to Gollings, specialty period artists include Hans Kleiber, Robert W. “Bob” Meyers, and Richard E. Bishop.  The gallery also holds the largest inventory of works for sale by Hans Kleiber.

Gary L. Temple received his Bachelor of Art Degree in Speech Communication from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. He was prolific in welded metal sculpture for nine years and currently is active in the marketing of western and sporting fine art. Together with his wife he has created, framed, and sold artwork since 1978 and written a number of books on various artists including "Hans Kleiber, Wyoming Printmaker and Artist.”  For more information on the Meadowlark gallery visit http://www.meadowlarkgallery.com/.
