Roaring Acres Alpacas welcomes you to join us for the 4th annual Easter Egg Hunt at Roaring Acres!

Advance tickets are required to participate in the event and will go on sale on March 6 at approximately 7pm. All participants must be 12 and under. Parents do not need to purchase tickets in advance, though we will have tickets available at a discounted price if purchased for the event ahead of time (more information below).

Due to how early in the season Easter is this year, the egg hunt will look a little bit different in order to avoid the mud as best we can - however, we would like to advise you that it WILL be muddy and to wear appropriate footwear & clothing!

Your visit begins with a journey past chicken village, where we will gather all the children at the start line. The meadow will be filled with hundreds of colorful eggs to collect! Whether your child(ren) wants to collect every egg in the field or just a few, all of the participants will end their egg hunting journey by returning the eggs, which will be empty, to a Roaring Acres staff member in exchange for a fun-filled goodie bag!

Depending on the hunt, there will be roughly 35-40 children in each group. We always start the hunt with the youngest kids and go in waves so everyone has a fair chance to collect some eggs! The alpacas will not be present for the egg hunt, but visits with the alpacas will be available once the hunt is over.

When everyone is done collecting eggs, the group will travel back up to the main pasture to receive their bag of grain and to get in the pasture with the alpacas and visit with the Easter Bunny!!!

The event dates and egg hunt start times are as follows:

Friday, March 29th at 11am

Friday, March 29th at 1pm

Saturday, March 30th at 11am

Saturday, March 30th at 1pm

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the egg hunt start time. If you are late, we will not make everyone else wait to begin the egg hunt for you.

The egg hunt will cost only $7.50 per participant (12 and under), which includes the Easter activities as well as admission to the pasture. Adults are not required to purchase tickets in advance, however admission charges do apply to adults entering the pasture. Adult admission is $5 per person, however we will offer discounted admission to those who purchase their tickets in advance on the dates of our egg hunts - we will send out a link to those who sign up their child for the egg hunt (discounted admission is only valid on the date of the egg hunt, will not be transferable to other dates)

PLEASE READ: The boutique will be open during the events and we will provide grain to feed the alpacas if guests would like. All Easter Egg hunts are non-refundable and the events will be rain, snow, or shine. In the event of severe weather or other extenuating circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the event and issue a refund, however we will not make this decision lightly. In the event of illness, you will be able to pick up your goodie bag(s) at a later date.

Spots fill up VERY quickly - save the date in your calendar and set an alarm! A link will be posted at the indicated sign up time to purchase your tickets.

*Please note, the back pasture is approximately 1/4 mile from the parking lot. We will travel back there as a group, and depending on farm conditions, we may have a tractor ride available (based on availability). Conditions will be muddy this time of year, or could even be snowy or icy, please plan accordingly.

Please do not purchase tickets from third parties whom you do not know. There are many scammers and we will not honor tickets purchased through a third party/resellers.
