Class Description: Learn to bake artisan bread at home with Jessica and Craig of Storybook Baking Co. In this class you will learn all the steps to create crusty and flavorful sourdoughs at home. Beginners welcome as well as experienced home bakers seeking to understand more of the bread baking process and get more consistent results at home.
We will be going over the entire baking process: feeding sourdough starters, mixing, shaping, and baking bread. You will go home with some sourdough starter of your own, recipes, and techniques to get you started on your own bread baking journey.
Sit down and savor your culinary creation, perfectly complemented by a selection of local wine, beer, or coffee.
Biography: Jessica and Craig are the bakers and owners of Storybook Baking Co. Together they have been baking artisan bread and pastries for their neighbors on the Palouse for the past 3 years. You can find Storybook Baking Co. at the Moscow Farmer's Market and at Monica's Coffee Bar in Moscow. Jessica brings 14 years of professional baking experience and Craig was a passionate and accomplished home baker before the starting of Storybook Baking Co. in 2021.robust flavor.
