Valerie Marvin, the Historian & Curator of the Michigan State Capitol will present, “A Woman’s Place is Under the Dome,” focused on the life of Eva McCall Hamilton, Michigan’s first female legislator. The talk will include the fight for woman’s suffrage which began in Michigan’s first Capitol in Detroit in 1846.
