Advent can be a time when we busy ourselves as a means of both distraction and preparation as we wait with anticipation for the coming of Christmas. And it can also be a time of looking back – recreating favorite Christmas traditions, telling stories from years past, connecting over meals that evoke memories of loved ones who have passed away.

All of our stories - past, present, and future - are part of God’s story. This year’s Advent retreat will focus on how our stories interweave as we all work to build God’s kin-dom. Come on December 3rd @ 9am to reflect on the ways that the story of Jesus’ birth has changed us, from generation to generation.

All ages are welcome - we'll have crafts and conversation, connection and contemplation - and snacks !!
