The Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival is an annual celebration coordinated by the Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival Planning Committee, a coalition of local environmental nonprofits and agencies, and will be held this year at Leslie Science & Nature Center.
This free, family-friendly event features displays; hands-on activities; live entertainment; green building and commuting technologies; energy topics; water awareness; sustainable agriculture; and more.
The All-Species Parade will take place at 2 p.m. during this year’s event. Come dressed as your favorite animal or sport your favorite festive wear, and join us as we parade the site and cheer for a healthy planet!

1:15–1:45 p.m.: 10,000 Trees with the Office of Sustainability & Innovations (OSI) (Bring in a photo of a tree near your home to have it identified, and learn how to use the iTree tool to visualize how this tree benefits your neighborhood.)
2–2:30 p.m.: “How to be an A2ZERO HERO” with OSI (A lightning round overview of specific ways residents can participate in and help promote Ann Arbor’s Climate Action Plan, A2ZERO.)
2:45–3:15 p.m.: Give365 and Adopt-a-Park (Learn about volunteer opportunities, park sustainability initiatives, the Visit Every Park Challenge, and avenues available for community-driven park improvement ideas within Ann Arbor Parks.)
3:30–4 p.m.: Natural Area Preservation and Greenbelt
