The 46th Annual Arkansas Rice Festival. The festival celebrates the rich heritage of rice farming in Arkansas and celebrating harvest. The festival is held annually the second weekend in October in Weiner, Arkansas in conjunction with National Rice Promotion Month.

07:00am: 5k Sign up from 7 to 7:45am
08:00am: 5k race starts
10:00am: Opening Ceremony

4:00pm: 2nd annual Weiner eating contest

Events Around Town Stage One
9:00am: Commercial Building opens
9:00am: Set up for Rice Cooking Contest at Weiner Christian Church. Ends at 10:30
9:30am: Parade lineup behind school begins
10:30am: Rice Cooking Contest Begins
12:00pm: Rice Tasting Lunch at Catholic Hall (ends at 2:00 PM)
12:00pm: Old Time Rice Threshing across from main stage
1:00pm: Wagon and Train Depot opens behind the fire station. It will now be used all day to assist people that can't or don't want to walk from cars to festival. It will be parked near the library from 11 am to dark.
1:00pm: 1st ever "Rice Hole" corn hole tournament. (more info to come)
1:00pm: Art and Photo Exhibits in Commercial Building
1:00pm: Car Show / Contest at Baptist Church
8:00pm: Haunted Scavenger Hunt at ARF Building
