Have you ever noticed that eating certain foods can affect your sense of physical and mental well-being – perking you up, slowing you down, giving you energy, making you sleepy? Ayurveda is a wellness practice originating in India thousands of years ago that addresses the body/mind connection through food. It helps us develop strong, balanced, and healthy bodies and minds through thoughtful, intentional diet and lifestyle choices, and can help us remain resilient and resistant to stress. Ayurvedic cooking is delicious - and is based on cooking and eating according to your “dosha” – or mind/body type. Aneesa and Austin have worked together to bring a special twist to Tara Kitchen’s already bold fusion and bring new combinations into existing flavor profiles that will have the added benefit of being better balanced for your dosha during the spring season!
Don’t worry, if you are new to this you will find the doshic selection process very easy! You will find a simplified list of qualities per each dosha and a dosha quiz through the Tara Kitchen website.
