Come to Crescent City, California for the Largest Fireworks Show & 4th of July Festival in Northern California

The 4th of July Festival 2024 Information and Details 

We celebrate big for the 4th of July! The celebration starts with a deck party from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, July 3 at the Cultural Center in Crescent City (across from Beachfront Park). The 4th of July festivities begin with FREE RE/MAX hot air balloon rides at 7 am followed by the parade through downtown — the lineup starts at 8:30 am and the parade starts at 10 am. The parade route is H Street and 9th  Street before winding its way down to 3rd Street, up to K Street, and over to Front Street. Due to the generosity of our local sponsors, the parade is free to all of those who enter the parade as well as all spectators. The parade entry form will be available soon to participate!

Enjoy a fun run (see below), live music, food, a beer garden, arts and crafts, merchandise and vendors all day long at Beachfront Park followed by the biggest fireworks show on the north coast (starts at dusk.)  Watching the fireworks over the Battery Point Lighthouse is an amazing sight to see! Fireworks can be seen from all beaches in Crescent City. Thank you to Lucky 7 Casino and Hotel for the fireworks show!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Thursday, July 4th

7:00am - Remax Hot Air Balloon Rides in Beachfront Park - Free

8:00am - Streets close for Parade: H Street, 3rd Street, K Street & Front Street all closed.

K STREET IS THE DESIGNATED QUIET AREA

8:30am - Parade line up starts at 9th and H Street.

10:00am - Registration for the 5K Fun Run begins, located at the first turnout on northern end of Pebble Beach Drive. The run begins at 10:00 am.

- Vendors setup completed & vehicles out of the park. No vehicles to move until festival closed.

- Beachfront Park opens for foot traffic.

- Markeplace, Food Vendors, Kids Attractions open.

- Parade starts at 10am with the signal shot of the cannon at 577 H Street

12:00pm - Live Entertainment on the Free Stage with Disturbing the Peace

1:00pm - Cow Chip Bingo begins at Beachfront Park.

-  Fireman Water Ball Challenge Front Street and Stamps Way followed by Fire Department display & demonstrations.

1:50pm - Awards & Announcements at Stage.

3:00pm - Live Entertainment on the Free with The Mighty Steelheads

6:00pm -  Festival Closes

10:30pm -  Roads open to traffic
