District Taco, the premier Mexican fast-casual restaurant known for its authentic Yucatán flavors, announces the grand opening of a new location in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. The new restaurant, located at 2700 Hampton Blvd, will open its doors on April 23rd.

The location is owned by District Taco franchisees Roger and Josephine Weeks. Roger brings more than 25 years of industry experience as a successful owner-operator of several Popeyes locations. Josephine has served as a physician in the D.C. community for more than two decades. Both are long-time residents of the area who fell in love with District Taco and decided to join the brand as owners. Norfolk will be the first of three locations the duo plans to open in the Hampton Roads region.

“We were really motivated by the entrepreneurial story behind District Taco,” said Roger Weeks. “We are excited to bring great food and the same sense of community and opportunity to Norfolk that Osiris Hoil brought to D.C. when he founded District Taco.”
