Memorial Day, formerly Decoration Day, in the United States, holiday honoring those who have died in the nation’s wars. It originated during the American Civil War when citizens placed flowers on the graves of those who had been killed in battle.

Edgerton, Ohio events to honor the sacrifice and service of the members of our community and nation.

The annual Memorial Day Parade in Downtown Edgerton starts promptly at 9:45 am in front of the Edgerton American Legion on North Michigan Avenue and ends at the Maple Grove Cemetery with a 10:00 am ceremony.

After the ceremony, in Downtown Edgerton will be the annual Zion Ladies Aid chicken bbq with sides fundraiser from 10a-1p.
