Learn techniques and ways to manage pain and be able to enjoy your birthing experience. Breathing techniques and labor positions with hands on skills for you and your partner will be reviewed. Some items covered in the class include: basics of what to expect with the delivery process, monitoring of you and your baby, and techniques that will help you manage end of pregnancy discomforts and labor including: relaxation, pressure points, touch, guided imagery, etc. Yoga mats are provided for use during the class. Participants may bring a blanket and pillow to the class if desired.
