euphoria seeks to present a first-class, multi-day event for food, wine, and music lovers that raises significant funds for charities while also promoting tourism and enhancing the reputation of Greenville, South Carolina as a premiere culinary and performing arts destination.
Schedule of Events:
10:00am: Cycling with Hincapie
Work up an appetite with one of the most recognized cyclists in the world, George Hincapie, who will lead a 30-mile morning ride starting and ending at the Hotel Domestique in Travelers Rest. After the ride, refuel on a gourmet lunch prepared by Chef Haydn Shaak while you savor stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Location: restaurant 17 at hotel domestique
11:00 am: Old Stories & A New Menu
History plays a big part in any region’s cuisine, and Greenville is no exception. History and foodie fans alike will want to snag a spot on this walking tour and wine lunch. Before lunch, you’ll hear some of Greenville’s early tales on a walking tour of downtown with art historian John Nolan. Once your head is filled with history, head to Jianna to fill your belly with the coveted cuisine of a local triumvirate of chefs: Michael Kramer, chef/partner of Jianna; Jeff Kelly, executive chef of Stella’s Southern Brasserie; and Greg McPhee, chef/owner of The Anchorage.
Location: start @ noma square & end @ jianna
12:00 pm: Terroir and the Taste of Place
Ever wonder why wines taste differently depending on where they’re grown? That’s the mystery of terroir, a secret you’ll unravel with the help of a Master Sommelier at this downtown event at Foxcroft Wine Co. Each of the three food courses will be served with a pair of wines, in order to illustrate how the soil and location in which grapes are planted make all the difference in the bottle.
Location: foxcroft wine co.
4:30 pm: VIP Experience: Eat. Sip. Listen.
One of the many perks of being a euphoria VIP is having access to the VIP Experience late Friday afternoon.
