The Asheville Area Arts Council is excited to exhibit the work of Hall Fletcher 4th Graders during a 2018 project sponsored by Asheville City School Foundation with TAPAS teaching artist and ALNUGE Inventor Cleaster Cotton.  ALNUGE Codes + Art Techniques (STEM + Art = STEAM) was used to teach English Language Arts (ELA) Standards in a project called Cubist Characters and Codes Portraits.

The students were prompted by questions like:

What difference do you make in your life – at home, at school, other places?

What traits do you want to develop?

What traits that make a difference in the world?
