In the 1970s Bruce Liddil moved to Tempe to go to college at ASU. There he studied Visual Communication Design. Bruce’s photographic vision is driven by his feeling of being an outsider and the knowledge that even the most mundane everyday objects, people and experiences are truly unique, interesting and quite strange. He hopes to share his unique point of view through his photography. These photographs were taken during his years at ASU and reflect a Tempe much different than the one we see today: a unique time and a unique place, that has since faded away. These images span 1975 to 1980.
