Bring your little farmers to see what life is like in the barnyard as winter turns to spring! Through farm exploration and other age-appropriate activities, stories, and adventures, preschool farmers are invited to meet Ruby the llama, Dixie the pig, Willow the goat, and all the animals in the barnyard. Spring is a wonderful time for all to become more familiar with what life as a farmer is like at Weir River Farm.
Farm Exploreres is recommended for children from 2 years 9 months to 5 years of age. Infants in carriers are welcome, free of charge, and do not need to be registered.
Adherence to current Covid-19 guidelines is mandatory. The wearing of masks for visitors ages 3 and up is required.
This program is held rain or shine. Please dress for the outdoors. In the event of particularly inclement weather, updates and notices will be posted on Weir River Farm social media and you will be notified via the email provided at registration.
Parking is located in the lot at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. Cross the street and walk down the “chute” to the barnyard. Please be advised that the path and barnyard are not well suited for some strollers. Please use your judgement regarding the use of strollers.
