Join Instructor Karen Williams Smith for an in-depth journey into sculpting the human form.  By studying specific areas of the head individually, you will learn to understand the rules of anatomy.  Karen will guide you through the process of how to observe muscle tone, bone structure, human characteristics, etc.  Karen’s classes are presented in the classic, realistic sculpting style, and you’ll work with polymer clay to create life-size facial body parts (ear, nose, eyes & mouth).  As a finale, you’ll sculpt a complete miniature bust (approximately 5” tall).  All sculptures will be cured before you take them home.  Written materials will be provided along with a comprehensive understanding of this artform so you can continue sculpting on your own.  All tools and materials are provided.  Beginners and all expertise levels are welcome.

Please Note:  There is a $25 (cash only) materials fee due at the workshop. White clothing is strongly encouraged to minimize fabric dust from settling on polymer clay.
