Welcome to the gateway of New England Running! Connecticut's only 30 Hour / 100 mile race, will take place on Saturday, June 27th with a start time of 8:30 AM and run to June 28th ending at 2:30 PM or 30 Hours. Run, jog, hike, walk or crawl; go, as long as, you wish: 25, 50, 75, 100 miles or more, it's up to you. Great way to test yourself for a Fall Ultra 100, like the Centurion 24Hour ! There will be a packet pickup between 3PM and 6PM, at the Forest Pavilion, the Friday before (26th); at this time or early on Saturday Morning (27th) you can choose a place to store gear to be used during the race, as a "rest and recuperation station" in an adjacent field to use for your for 30 hour endeavor, (NO overnight camping allowed per Town Ordinance) . Access to your vehicle will, also be nearby, as you loop, through the day and night. There will be an award for first to fifth overall with the most amount of miles in the 30 hours allocated for running. An incredible buckle will be given to all those achieving 100 miles in the 30 hours, but that does not win the race; it is most miles achieved in 30 hours. One Pacer is allowed per runner, if requested, at a cost of $25, only after 22 hours or 6:30 AM Sunday June 28th; they must register and sign the waiver, this allows them to hydration, food and insurance coverage. Pacers must check in on Sunday morning for the wristband, anyone using a UNAUTHORIZED Pacer will be disqualified from the race. The course is a 2.22 mile or 45 completions earns a 100 mile buckle on a slightly rolling hill, some with roots and rocks, it's New England running, all doable, averaging 14 runners who received buckles on a day of unexpected 85 degree heat and 75% humidity. Please note: no refunds or deferrals, a "virtual" is possible, if demanded by CDC/State/Town, thank you. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Stratford EMS and the Roosevelt Forest Commission.
