This group serves adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. Many members have begun the difficult and challenging work needed to establish life without their loved one. This group has a more social atmosphere. Newly bereaved adults are welcome, but should be aware of the nature of this group.
This support group is designed to teach about defining grief, common and normalcy of grief reactions, caring for ourselves while grieving and recognizing progress in processing grief. There is much opportunity to share losses and memories while discussing opportunities for healing. The program is facilitated by a Bereavement Coordinator or Medical Social Worker.
The group is ongoing, and individuals are encouraged to come as often as they need, for as long as they need.
This group is designed for drop-ins.
