The Healthy Teaching Kitchen on a Budget class is a series of 3 monthly classes scheduled during January - March, April - June, July - September, and October - December. This class aims to help Veterans stretch their food budget.
Class 1: grocery shopping and meal planning
Class 2: meal prep and cooking recommendations to help manage Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and other diseases
Class 3: simple meals and snack ideas.
All classes are taught considering the needs of Veterans that are experiencing financial difficulties.
