In May, the Riversdale House Museum will offer a virtual lesson series for homeschool learners ages 12-17 that explores the connections between the classical and neoclassical worlds. Bring history to life from the comfort of your very own living room!
Early Federal America was heavily influenced by the worlds of ancient Greece and Rome. What does Riversdale have in common with an ancient Greek temple? Join us in May for History at Home: The Classical World to find out! Log in for a different lesson that reveals something new about Riversdale.
Cost is $6 for residents of Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties and $8 for non-residents. Cost includes a kit to be picked up in advance. Participants must have a laptop or desktop with the capabilities to use Microsoft Teams with video camera and microphone to engage. An email with link and detailed instructions will be sent out closer to the event.
