Live Music at Daisy's Po-Boy and Tavern

James Beard Award-Winning Chef Erick Williams is excited to share that Daisy’s Po-Boy and Tavern is launching a special live music series taking place on the first Wednesday of each month. Located in Hyde Park at 5215 S. Harper, Daisy's is affectionately named after Williams’ Aunt Daisy and evokes the vibrancy of New Orleans through its classic sandwich, fun colors and music. 

The monthly series kicks off on Wednesday, August 2nd from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with Darius Hampton’s Hot Three band. Guests will enjoy unique musical expressions with the spirit of The Big Easy. The performance mingles classic songs with newer hit tunes to complement Daisy’s vibrant menu and atmosphere. Reservations will not be accepted and Daisy’s fast-casual style service will remain the same. 

To complement the music, diners can enjoy an array of Big Easy style menu options including, but not limited to, Fried Shrimp, Fried Catfish, Roast Beef, Fried Green Tomato Po’boys -  all served on bread flown in from New Orleans’ iconic Leidenheimer Baking. Other New Orleans favorites include Fried Gator, Peel-and-Eat Shrimp, the Muffuletta, Seafood Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, and many other delicious options. Guests can pull up a seat at the bar and sip traditional cocktails like the Hurricane or Sazerac, or order at the counter and take a seat where their Big Easy-style meal will be delivered to the table. Williams, who is known for creating a hospitable environment where all are welcome, looks forward to adding this new and exciting element to Daisy’s laid back atmosphere.
