It’s the first and largest summer event on the Island, attracting thousands of visitors. Festivities for the 10-day festival include the coronation of the Lilac Festival Queen and Court, Lilac Festival Run/Walk, Mackin-Paws Dog Celebration, the Lilac Festival Grand Stationary Parade and much more.


9:00 am - 8:00 pm: View the collection of all the Lilac Festival posters on display Mission Point Theatre

10:00 am - 5:30 pm: Complimentary admission to the Richard and Jane Manoogian Art Museum

10:00 am - 8:00 pm: Local Artists Nicki Griffith and Pat Pulte new works Murray Hotel Lower Gallery

10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Mackin-Paw Dog Day, Windermere Point

10:30 am - 12:00 pm: Bloody Mary and Mimosa Cruise with Mike Ridley. Tickets are $40

11:00 am: Special Tour Fort Mackinac. Included with admission

11:30 am: Mackin-Paw Pup Parade Windermere Point

Afternoon: Fly Kites with Great Turtle Toys Windermere Point. Weather permitting

1:00 pm: Walking Tour with Lilac Expert Jeff Young. Meet at northwest bench in Marquette Park

1:30 pm: Special Tour Fort Mackinac. Included with admission

3:00 pm: Lilac Planting with Lilac Expert Jeff Young. Ste. Anne’s Church Yard

3:30 pm - 5:00 pm: MI Craft Beer Cruise with Will Springsteen Sip N’ Sail Cruise. Tickets are $40

6:30 pm: Cannon Firing Fort Mackinac. Sign up at Tourism Bureau for a chance to fire the cannon

8:30 pm - 10:00 pm: Sip N’ Sail Cruise at Sunset with Will Springsteen. Tickets are $47
