Prepare to be transported to an era of grandeur and celestial harmonies! Join us for the beautiful Coronation Mass by Mozart, a luminous gem that has thrilled audiences for nearly 250 years. The concert features the Moniuszko Choir, Soloists Mary McCue, soprano; Allison Lindsay – alto; Ed Napier – tenor; Dariusz Ocetek – bass; and the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra players. One of Mozart’s most beloved works, the Coronation Mass (Krönungsmesse) resonates with both earthly splendor and spiritual fervor. Composed in 1779, it captures the essence of regal coronations and divine blessings.

Meet the Soloists:

Allison Lindsay
is an active operatic, theatrical, and concert performer from the Northeastern United States. A few of her notable roles to date include Frau/Inmate in Erwartung and Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel (both with Madison Lyric Stage), the title role in Handel’s Ariodante (New York Lyric Opera Theatre), Siebel in Faust and Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia (both with Connecticut Lyric Opera), among others. Mary McCue
joined CLO for the Greve Opera Academy, Italy, as Fiordiligi in Cosi fan Tutte. Studied with Katia Ricciarelli, Paolo Bellocci, Armando Ariostini, Giacomo Benedetti. She has performed Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, Tebaldo/Celestial Voice in Verdi’s Don Carlo, Eglé in Rameau’s Daphnis et Eglé, and Bubikopf in Ullman’s Der Kaiser von Atlantis. In 2021, she debuted with Madison Lyric Stage as Mistress of Novices/Nursing sister in Suor Angelica. Ms. McCue returns to MLS for their 2024 season as the title character in Richard Strauss’ Elektra. READ MORE>>

Ed Napier
is a singer who wrote numerous of his plays that have been performed in NY, LA, and beyond. Smith and Kraus, Dramatist Playwriting Service, and Applause Theatre Books have published his work. He was a Columbia Senior Writing Fellow, a Juilliard Playwriting Fellow, and a Playwriting Fellow at the Lark. Recipient of Berilla Kerr Award. READ MORE>>

Dariusz Ocetek
has performed in operas, oratorios, operettas, opera gala concerts, song recitals, musicals, and drama plays in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, and the USA. His voice was heard at the New York Lyric Recovery Festival at the Carnegie Hall, Liederkranz Opera Foundation, North Shore Center for Performing Arts, and Cami Hall, 92NY, among others. READ MORE>>
