Sounds of Summer

June 3-7– Drum Camp, (5-8 PM), Music Authority, 123 Merchants Sq, Cumming, GA 30040

For ages 9-18, Drum Camp will help students tend to both physical and mental skills–campers will have the opportunity to learn drums better, learn performance tips from the pros, tackle stage fright, and have a better stage presence.

June 10-14 and July 15-19– Rock Camp, (9 AM-2 PM) 

A big highlight of Summer 2024 at Music Authority will be their Rock Camps–two separate sessions, on June 10-14 and July 15-19, will give participants the opportunity to learn musical skills, experience what being in a band is like, get a professional photoshoot, bond with fellow campers, and will end the week with a concert to show off what they’ve learned. July 8 - 12 – Songwriter Camp, Music Authority, 123 Merchants Sq, Cumming, GA 30040

If your teenager is aspiring to explore their songwriting skills, Music Authority is offering a songwriting camp July 8-12 for any student or non-student to help find their voice and expand general songwriting skills. This would be beneficial for anyone who currently has ideas for original music or hopes to make music of their own someday! To sign up, call Music Authority at (770-886-9066).

July 22-26– Junior Rock Camp, (10 AM-1 PM)

Rock Camp, Jr. is a mini version of Rock Camp meant for kids ages 5-10 years old where they would get the opportunity to make friends, do crafts, and learn about all different kinds of music and instruments. Rock Camp, Jr. would also end the week with a concert that parents could attend! To sign up, call Music Authority at (770-886-9066).
