Mercilee Jenkins, a member of the Playwrights Lab, presents her solo show, "It's Later than you Think".

Things don’t get easier with age, especially when you’re bisexual and it comes to love, marriage and monsters from your past. How do you let go of what you don’t need to make room for what you really want? Like the song says, “Enjoy Yourself, It’s Later Than You Think.” 

Dr. Mercilee Jenkins is Professor Emerita of Communication Studies at San Francisco State University as well as a produced playwright, published poet and short story writer.   She is also a member of the Playwrights Lab, currently in residence at the Mill Valley Public Library, and recently participated in their Shorts Festival in November. She is also associated with 3Girls Theatre who presented her solo performance piece, It’s Later Than You Think, at the Phoenix Theatre.
