Qi Gong is a gentle form of exercise that has been practiced in China for thousands of years. “Qi” means “life energy” and “Gong” means “to work.” This class is designed to teach you better health by bringing balance to the mind and body through breathing techniques, gentle movement and quiet meditation. Qi Gong can make significant improvements in fatigue, anxiety, cognitive function, sleep, chronic pain and depression. Studies have found that the ancient Chinese practice of Qi Gong can help improve quality of life in cancer patients.
Join us for this free class that meets weekly on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., from January 2 - December 18, 2019. There will be no class on the following dates: September 11, November 27 and December 25. You may register and join the weekly class series at anytime.
