Rocky Mountain International Audio Fest (RMAF) is the largest consumer audio and home entertainment show in the United States. Simply put: “mega stereo systems!” Denver’s own audio wonderland now features over 160 exhibit spaces representing more than 400 companies from North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

2:00pm - 3:00pm: Classic Album Sundays - Steely Dan - Aja
Classic Album Sundays returns for the third year to America’s largest and coolest audio show, the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, where we will host our own room with a range of album sessions in which the album’s unique story will be told, followed by an uninterrupted vinyl playback on some of the world’s most amazing hi-fi sound equipment so that the fan can experience the album as close as possible to the way in which in the artist intended. Even if a fan is well acquainted with the album, chances are they will hear things they have never heard before.

4:00pm - 5:00pm: Classic Album Sundays - Producer's pick: Dorothy Ashby - Afro-Harping

10:30am - 11:30am: Acoustic Analysis - Optimizing the Room/Speaker Interface
Presenters: Bob Hodas
The focus of the Seminar will be the speaker/room interface and optimizing system performance with proper placement and room treatments. A slide presentation will demonstrate the frequency and phase response of speakers placed properly and improperly in a room. Integrating subwoofers with the main speaker system for both stereo and surrounds systems will be covered. There will be a discussion of what types of acoustic treatments to use a room and how to determine where those treatments will best serve the listener. Slide examples will be shown exhibiting results from proper use of acoustic treatments. Equalization techniques will also be included. Common misconceptions will be discussed. and there will be a period for attendee questions.
