Saturday, 2 Hour Sails

Enjoy an Unforgettable Sail on a Chesapeake Bay Skipjack. Experience the vanishing skipjack heritage of Maryland's Eastern Shore as we sail and dredge for oysters. Our sailing season runs from May through October. CHARTERS on the skipjack provide a unique venue for any occasion or celebration. See our PUBLIC SAIL schedule of two-hour afternoon sails most Saturdays in season, http://www.skipjack-nathan.org/sailing/ps_schedule.html

The Nathan was built by volunteers and launched on the Fourth of July, 1994. She is the last of the Bay's skipjacks built to be a dredge boat, and still is owned, operated, crewed and maintained by volunteers from the nonprofit Dorchester Skipjack Committee.

The Nathan's public sailing season runs from May through October. Regularly scheduled public sails depart from Long Wharf, at the end of High Street, in Cambridge, Maryland.

Advance reservations are recommended and accepted ONLINE, until midnight of the day before the sail. You may pay online with credit card or Paypal. We may be able to accommodate last minute passengers without reservations on the day of sail, but if your group has more than two or three people, you should reserve in advance. Last Minute Day-of-sail reservations.Call 410-228-7141 before 11am. We'll let you know of any remaining spaces. You can pay at the dock by cash or check only.
