The purpose of meditation is to improve our own peace of mind. Meditation helps us to create space in our mind and to think clearly with a positive outlook. It is a practical tool that offers an opportunity to change the way we react to people and difficult situations in our life. Through meditation, we gain more control of our mind and begin to feel calm, peaceful and relaxed, no matter what problems are arising. Join us for a guided relaxation meditation, a short talk, and another guided meditation. Topics such as reducing our stress, enhancing our love for others or how to improve our mindfulness and concentration will be emphasized each month.
No previous experience is needed. Each class stands alone so drop-in to any class. Chairs and cushions are provided.
