Get ready to make a profound impact on the lives of local families and individuals with special needs this April alongside the Speech and Language Development Center (SLDC). On Sunday, April 7th, join this nonprofit school and therapy center at the 2024 Walk Your Way event. Each step you take will not only support their mission but also foster growth, ignite achievement, and unlock potential.

This safe and inclusive 1-mile walk through Knott’s Berry Farm welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, bringing together families, companies, and community partners to raise funds for year-round education and therapy for SLDC students. Everyone is encouraged to form fundraising teams with their friends and family, amplifying the collective impact of their strides and empowering students with special needs to learn, communicate, and thrive using their own unique talents and capabilities.

The morning promises family fun with an interactive, sensory-friendly festival featuring entertainment, music, food, a Peanuts Gang meet-and-greet, and a resource fair offering valuable information for individuals with special needs and their families. Fundraising teams will also win awesome prizes, like tickets to Knott's, Snoopy Plushies, and more!
