Come watch the Fiesta Days Children's Parade as it travels down Center Street. Participants should line up at designated areas at Park School (700 East Center). The Fiesta Days theme this year is "Celebrate Good Times".

A child does not have to be part of an organized group to participate. Family or neighborhood groups are welcome with adult supervision; however, an application is still needed. Parade travels west on Center Street and ends on 100 East. All children who participate in the Children's Parade will be given a ticket for one free ride at the Carnival.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Children's Parade Winners will be announced on Saturday, July 20 at 12:00 noon on the Library Stage (east side of Library at the City Park). These winners will be invited to participate in the Grand Parade on Wednesday, July 24. This is NOT a requirement - only an invitation.

9:30am: Fish Rodeo

Be a part of the exciting Fish Rodeo at the southwest corner of City Park. This event features a 1,000 square foot man-made pond that will have over 500 fish for the kids to catch. The fish wrangling will begin at about 9:30 am, immediately following the Children's Parade, until approximately 11:30 am.

Pre-sale tickets are $5.00 and are on sale at the City Utility Office, 40 South Main, beginning Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 19.

On the day of the Fish Rodeo, tickets will be available for purchase at the City Park – but the lines are long so purchasing tickets in advance is encouraged. Ticket sales are limited to the number of fish ordered, so get your tickets in advance to make sure that your kids are able to participate in this fun event.

9:30am: Children's Day Activities

This is a super fun day for children under 12 years old. Immediately after the Children’s parade, the park will be the center of fun activities for the children to enjoy.

A large Children’s tent will be set up behind the library. The tent will be full of games and activities for the children. They can have their faces painted, dig for treasures, create a craft, have a real princess paint their nails, go fishing, go bowling, get a tattoo, and fill up their bags with prizes from the many other ventures. The best part of Children’s Tent is that it is FREE!

Each child must pick-up their free punch card and get their hand stamped at the ticket table on the East side of the big tent before they get in line. This card will be marked off when they visit each activity. The games stop at 12 noon, so make sure you get there early. It takes a while to get through all of the fun games.

4:00pm: Spanish Fork Community Theater - Beauty and the Beast

The Spanish Fork Community Theater is proud to present Disney’s Beauty and the Beast during this year’s Fiesta Days. This show played a remarkable 13-year run on Broadway. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Beauty and the Beast will be directed by Cami Jensen. Her creativity brought The Little Mermaid to life in Spanish Fork in 2017. Beauty and the Beast is a show dear to her heart. The mystery and romance make for a compelling story. Also, the Beast's Enchanted Castle offers ample opportunity for spectacular technical effects. Cami is joined by Choreographer Tia Trimble and Music Director Kameron Kavanaugh. Don't miss your chance to see this epic show!
