Get ready for the upcoming eclipse on April 8th by exploring the sun! This special event will be all about safe solar observation. The Northern Colorado Astronomical Society will be here with solar telescopes that will provide an up-close view of the sun in all its radiance. NCAS members will also give a talk about the amazing occurrence of eclipses and provide in-depth, insider info about this mysterious astronomical phenomenon. And we'll make pinhole viewers together to top it all off and send you home with this fun DIY way to watch an eclipse. Eclipse glasses will be provided to take home too! All ages are welcome! *Spanish interpretation will be provided.

Registration is encouraged but not required! Space will be limited for the pinhole viewer craft but please feel free to drop in to experience the solar telescopes and catch the solar eclipse talk at 10am!

¡Prepárate para el próximo eclipse del 8 de abril explorando el sol! Este evento especial será sobre la observación solar segura. La Sociedad Astronómica del Norte de Colorado estará aquí con telescopios solares que brindarán una vista de cerca del sol en todo su resplandor. Los miembros de NCAS también darán una charla sobre el sorprendente acontecimiento de los eclipses y brindarán información privilegiada y detallada sobre este misterioso fenómeno astronómico.
